Education
ALMA Corp is here to provide youth with a safe environment and to support growth and development. ALMA Corp offers tutoring that is focused on increasing their academic growth. We implement classes that will teach leadership, life skills, anger management, and much more. We follow our students all the way to college. We provide college planning, job search, housing, and resources.
Mental Health
ALMA Corp provides mentoring by providing guidance, motivation, role modeling, and emotional support. We help youth explore careers, set goals and identify resources. Together with our grassroots volunteers, we work every day to provide help and hope to people who need it. When we take care of mental health, we can all see the benefits. You have the power to improve your mental health. And it starts with one conversation/ Speaking up and asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength. All it takes is saying “I’m not okay” Can I talk to you about it?
Life Coach/Skills
ALMA Corp provides Life coaching to youth and their families to help improve relationships, careers, or their day-to-day lives. We help clarify goals, identify obstacles, and ways to overcome each obstacle. We help our youth to look at where they are now and where they want to be in the future. We teach how to set goals and achieve them.
Community Outreach
ALMA Corp also offers all the same programs and classes to the parents of our students. We offer group sessions where parents can engage with one another to share their experiences as a parent and help other struggling parents.
Mentoring
ALMA Corp teaches our youth about community services and civic duty. We take our youths out to give back to the community by cleaning streets, helping the elderly and feeding the homeless.
